She is so informative and enthusiastic about the centre and what it's all about. We spent at least a couple of hours here and learned so much about the area and flora and fauna within it. To be honest, we could have happily stayed longer. I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have children who would be interested in learning about nature. The world would be in a better place with people like Mary looking after it!! A museum on a cliff in a unique location for Cyprus, surrounded by the Ezousa Valley. A very enthusiastic museum administrator told us about the ancient mineral rocks, flora and fauna of the inhabitants of Cyprus. The museum has a small botanical park with a beautiful view. It is great to see more places like this popping up in Cyprus. Entrance cost €5. We bumped into the centre when looking for the Ezousa hiking trail. Taking the tour at their centre first was the best decision of the day. The guide (MB) was super friendly, and thanks to her tour and the info we saw here, we were motivated to do the full hike instead of a part of it. Definitely worth the visit! Nice free education centre with great views of the salt lakes, staff was welcoming and the displays were good and clear. The entrance ticket includes a film about the nature of Cyprus, as well as excursions inside the center and outside, where the beautiful park is located. A very beautiful lady guide gave us an interesting and educational tour. We definitely need to come here in the spring to see the flowering plants in the garden. They are beautiful!
