You can’t visit it without recalling scenes from movies as the landscape and the whole building directly trickers them. Driving towards it is rough but it’s worth every inconvenience It was very hard to get there from Kelokedara, the dirt road was in a very bad condition. Apparently, there is a better way from Pentalia village. But it was worth it. It is a very beatiful place without anything else around it. The scenery is just fantastic some of us thought it would be ideal for GOT episode. The doors are open for the public and the place is kept in a good condition. Hopefully people will keep it that way. hi, in a middle of nowhere, truly an off road experience if you go with a standard small car from the nearest village. they closed the gates to the monastery, despite before it was always open, but it's still accessible if you go from the right side. managed to cross over the river after the monastery, which was dried up (do not recommend going across as rocks were huge and without 4x4 car not easy to get accross). the only thing on the other side of river is donkey farm which wasn't open but you can still see the goats and some donkeys. during winter months there used to be some wild goats spotted in the area. Highly recommended! A peaceful and serene place to visit. There’s a beautiful church and another room showcasing the history of the site. It’s the perfect spot to quiet your mind and find a moment of calm. Panagia of sintis abandoned in the middle nowhere, it’s beautiful & calm place, need 4*4 car to approach this monastery, but we go there with our saloon car, 3 time we cross the river, thn we reach this place, one of the best day of my life👌🇨🇾full of adventure Absolutely magic place. But better to leave car on the road and walk. Or use jeep The church was very nice and it was definitely a great experience. It’s some very old architecture that’s worth a look. The road to the church was very unstable and I would not recommend driving on your own as a turist because of the unstable roads. I would recommend getting a guided tour with a driver who is experienced and NOT driving a passenger car.
