We spent a day at Maria’s trekking yesterday. It was so being at this place. Debbie, Maria and Debbiemaria have a presence 🙏 and their for all their and animals is all over this little paradise. If you are looking for really being with this is the place to go! Fabulous trek up into the hills! These rescued are very well looked after and retrained to take “passengers” safely out on treks. Friendly staff, horses, excellent accommodation for them to either be outside or inside in the cool, which they have the freedom to choose for themselves. The views from the top of the hills were amazing. I had no idea that Cyprus was like this!! And then delicious, traditional food for lunch in a pretty tavern in the local village. Perfect! Don’t expect long canters - the ground does not support it. But for a chilled couple of hours mooching across the hills, what could be better?
