O interior com três naves, mas sem transepto tem todas as janelas preenchidas com vitrais. Do exterior, interessantes também as gárgulas. Nice with some interesting gargoyles. Cool place to visit, but not worth going out of your way to see. L'église Saint-Léonard a été édifiée sur la terrasse dominant le château de Fougères. Au-dessus de la vaste nef, se dresse un clocher imposant, surmonté d'un campanile et d'une galerie qui offre un superbe point de vue circulaire sur la ville et ses environs. Une visite s'impose, notamment en été lorsque l'accès au clocher est ouvert, permettant de gravir l'escalier pour profiter de cette vue exceptionnelle. It's dark compared to a lot but it seems to make the stained glass windows even more colourful with the light coming through them. Apparently they are the original windows. Some great gargoyles outside. Lovely church, from the back of the there are spectacular views of the chateau and really pretty gardens. Belle église du 15 ème siècle qui surplombe la ville. Fundada no século XII, reconstruída nos séculos XV e XVI, a igreja foi desorientada e ampliada no século XIX e recebeu um portal e uma rosácea de seis metros de diâmetro em estilo gótico extravagante. Do lado de fora, você pode admirar a fachada norte com seus balaústres e gárgulas curiosas. A capela sul abriga o vitral mais antigo (século XVIII) da Bretanha, que vem da abadia de Saint-Denis, perto de Paris, e a Assunção, uma pintura de Achille Dévéria de 1835. A capela norte preserva uma pintura de Eugène Dévéria (século XVIII). Os irmãos Dévéria eram amigos de Victor Hugo. A torre da igreja pode ser visitada durante a alta temporada, onde se pode descobrir um panorama incrível de Fougères, bem como seus monumentos e a paisagem circundante.
