Improve this, and we will be back Worth playing once, but is expensive when compared to other courses in this price range. Course is in reasonable condition, but the bunkers, which are very abundant around the course are more like waste areas with little sand and lots of stones. If you are single or 2 ball, you are likely to get paired up to make a 4-ball. Took 4:40 hrs, but slowed down by those we were paired with who seemed to lose a ball on every hole. Not always easy to see where the green was on tee shots, but fairways were easy enough to identify. Greens were good and reasonable speed and with a mix of undulations and some subtle borrows. But the number of bunkers and their size can detract from the experience. Played in strong winds and made the course challenging. You will need to reserve a buggy, but course is walkable and they have plenty of trolleys. Big clubhouse and facilities. Had a spare day on holidays and decided to take a twilight round at elea estate. Staff were very accommodating and were helpful in organizing clubs and tee time. Driving range facilities and clubhouse were excellent. Course offers a lot of challenges and too many bunkers!! Very picturesque course that offers equal risk & reward. This place was just what I needed. After being harassed at the Timi Market by a dirty old man, I pulled in here for breakfast and was made right again. Elegant and magnificent. Wonderful reserved welcome. Grand views with extremely smart decor and arrangements. Couldn't care less about Golf so I have nothing to contribute there, but the property is so delightful. So grateful Elea was here just when I needed it. Now I wish I had taken more pictures to express the grand, quiet elegance. Swanky place for a Wedding! We played Elea in April 2023. This was our third visit over several years and it doesn't disappoint. It's not the most difficult course to play, but as a single-figure handicapper, playing off the whites, the layout and pin positions really make you plot your way around the course. Several people during our holiday commented that the course wasn't in great condition, but I completely disagree. The fairways and greens were in great nick. I just wish that other golfers raked bunkers and repaired their pitchmarks. I repaired six on the first green alone, five of which weren't mine! I decided to carry, which I prefer and the compact layout lends itself to this, unlike on some courses. My only criticism of the course is the anomaly that is the 17th hole. For most players, the tight drive and long carry over rocks toward the green result in most players struggling to complete the hole. A redesign wouldn't go amiss here. After golf we ate in the restaurant. The food was excellent and remarkably good value! Overall, 5 stars from me. We had our wedding at Elea Estate in June 2024, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The grounds offer a gorgeous view of the sea and are massive, creating a beautiful and magical drive as you approach the venue. The photos truly do not do it justice – it felt like a dream, and our guests couldn't stop complimenting our choice of venue. The staff were amazing, treating us like royalty with their accommodating and hospitable service. The bartender's drinks were 10/10, and the food was delicious, receiving rave reviews from our guests, who even asked for the menu. They were very accommodating to our dietary needs, offering flexible menu choices for our vegetarian guests and those with allergies. The friendly staff truly made our day special. We couldn't have asked for a better or team to make our wedding day unforgettable. Thank you, Elea Estate! We really liked the course. It was A good value and nice staff.
