Schade E la seconda volta che visito questo è mi piace molto. interessante tutto il lavoro che ci sta dietro anche di salvaguardia delle specie (che ci aveva spiegato la volta precedente il proprietario) e i rapaci presenti bellissimi. Io, poi, li adoro. Quest'anno ci anche dei kakatoa, pappagalli e un ciuffolotto. In realtà, vederli in gabbia, mi mette un po di tristezza ma capisco che molti non sopravvivrebbero se lasciati liberi. Alcuni addirittura, in via di estinzione. Esperienza meravigliosa da ripetere Oggi pomeriggio alle 15 abbiamo finalmente visitato il dei gufi di San Vigilio di Marebbe. Dico finalmente, perché nonostante sia vicino al paese e facilmente raggiungibile in a piedi, in auto e bici o in autobus, alla fine ci talmente tante cose da fare e da vedere che negli anni passati la settimana è trascorsa senza mai riuscirci. La visita guidata è curata dal proprietario, nonché colui che 365/24 segue i rapaci presenti nel parco: preparatissimo, risponde volentieri a tutte le domande e curiosità. Il figlio lo aiuta nella dimostrazione di volo, parte certamente più emozionante del tour. Consigliato per tutte le età: è piaciuto ai bambini e a mia mamma di 85 anni! We met at the park museum in St Vigilio ( it is winter so cold in the park) for a presentation and discussion on owls. It was in Italian (however the museum manager translated for us). Mario is passionate and an expert on owls and of prey. He explained the history, habits and even the smallest curiosities of each species. The are looked after very well, as are the environments that host them. Such a cool experience! Family run center. The are clearly enjoying it there. They do shows too where get to fly. Mario Kelemina ha condotto me e mio figlio Marco di 9 anni nella conoscenza degli uccelli rapaci notturni e anche diurni. Con una conoscenza a 360 gradi dell'argomento e una qualità di lessico e spiegazioni accurata (io anestesista e mi ha parlato in maniera accurata delle caratteristiche fisiche e territoriali dei volatili), ci ha regalato 1 ora e mezza di spiegazioni dinanzi a ogni singolo esemplare. Cura in modo appassionato e più che esemplare ogni singola creatura di cui ha scelto di prendersi cura e allevare. E' stata un'esperienza arricchente e bella da tutti i punti di vista. But I could not stop from crying the second my eyes crossed the ones of a poor owl, alone and immobile in it’s ridiculously small cage. It was crazy expensive (15€) to do a small and see the sadest ever. People, don’t go to zoos if you like animals. It won’t bring anything to your children. And for the love of god, please don’t take picture for 10€ at the end. Think before seeing captive animals. Just don’t go in such places even if they claim protecting them. The eagle in a cage is just heartbreaking and ridiculous. Esperienza bella, istruttiva e Mario esperto! I was there but could not enter. Das eine Reservierung im Winter notwendig ist steht nirgendwo! La guida era preparata e ci ha introdotto al mondo dei rapaci in modo più che esaustivo. Gli animali erano stupendi e tenuti davvero bene. Ho avuto il piacere di visitare il zoologico con una visita guidata condotta direttamente dal proprietario, Mario. È stata un’esperienza davvero speciale: non solo per il luogo curato con attenzione e passione, ma soprattutto per la competenza e la disponibilità di Mario, che ha saputo trasmettere entusiasmo e conoscenze durante tutto il percorso. Ogni angolo del racconta una storia e riflette l’impegno con cui viene mantenuto. La visita non è stata una semplice passeggiata, ma un vero e proprio viaggio alla scoperta di curiosità, dettagli e aneddoti che hanno reso l’esperienza unica!
