It was our second time here. Our boy was really excited to take ski with Manuela, which is amazing. The ski learning area is also great. I honestly can’t recommend Scuola Ski Ortisei enough! I had tried snowboarding before, but it didn’t go well, and I thought it just wasn’t for me. This time, I decided to give it one last shot, and I’m so glad I did! I was lucky to be in a small group of just four people, which made such a big difference. Our instructor, Simon, was amazing - super patient, encouraging, and really good at explaining things. He gave each of us individual feedback, pointed out what we could improve, and made sure to praise us when we got things right. It felt so motivating and fun at the same time! Everything about the was really well-organized, and Simon’s teaching was just on another level. I actually started to enjoy snowboarding and even made progress I didn’t think was possible. If I’m back in Val Gardena next season, I’d 100% take with Simon again. We were a bit too scared to do Sellaronda on our own after our friends almost got stranded far from the hotel. I asked our hotel Adler Dolomiti for a ski guide and they recommended the guides at Ortisei ski school. The booking process was easy. The guide assigned to us was Konstantine. He was young and was an excellent freestyler. Out of all three ski days, and doing both Green and Orange Sellarondas, my kids loved the day with Konstantine the best. I didn’t ski but I took a photo of them as they were returning back. Another one is from my husband. Thank you! They make it easy to rent gear, they do their best to accommodate changes and the instructors are excellent. Karin, who teaches cross-country, is a marvelous instructor. My daughter also attended the ski for young children and she came home happy every day. Highly recommend! My son (from Florida) had a blast. He spent the entire duration of his spring break here for ski training and leisure ski with my husband. My son has been skiing since he was 4 years old. He only had one formal ski instruction and since then he has been going with my husband to kind of learn the ropes of skiing. Like any kid He can go any speed he wants at any slope but he is lacking of technique and skill variety which were the reasons why we wanted him to train properly before he develops and sticks to bad ski habits. Ortisei is world renowed ski area for the Downhill and Super G World Cups and it did not disappoint my 7-year old ski nugget!.. This ski school’s location offered a variety of slopes which allowed him to execute well what he learned whether with the school’s group or with my husband. The instructor was excellent, passionate and very patient. Being from Florida, USA we barely hit the snows ( we travel to Europe 2-3 times a year to ski) but to our pleasant surprise our son won the Gold in his very first ski competition which was the finale of the program. I highly recommend this school/program if you want your little ones to learn and develop the proper techniques of skiing which i think are very important to keep them safe and if they wish to proceed to a higher level in skiing. Within a week of training, my son was able to navigate safely and confidently through the major/famous slopes in Ortisei. He was really happy and felt accomplished to “race” with my husband through the black/black diamond slopes. This is the place to be if your child has high interset and eagerness to ski. The highlight of our Dolomites’s ski adventure … Gaby and her team bent over backwards to make sure this adventure happened, as weather, logistics and other nasty’s threatened to cancel our excursion Lucas, our guide was fantastic, he led us professionally and was a joy to ski with. The helicopter itself gave us the opportunity to fly through the heart of the Dolomites, an experience which none of us will ever forget. If you are thinking of doing this, stop thinking and just do it ! I had an amazing experience with the two coaches . Unfortunately, due to a ski accident, I had to cancel wine classes. The was so supportive and thankfully refunded all the unused classes. I'll definitely come back. The is very well organised and all the instructors are professional, fun, and knowledgeable. My children have taken group for several years and they have always had loads of fun whilst learning to ski well and safely. I have taken individual to improve my technique and I have made tangible progress. The offers a wide range of (from alpine skiing to cross-country, snowboarding, etc.) and excursions. Safety standards are extremely high. The has more then 100 instructors, who are multilingual and offer in many languages. I highly recommend the Ski Ortisei We had a great week with Paolo and Lisa. The kids and adults got great tuition and also had a lot of fun. Lisa and Paolo are very professional, friendly and helfpul. We look forward to booking again next year.
