The shop sells fresh and organic food but the prices are sometimes high. Also some local handmade products and plants are on sale. A farm shop and self-service restaurant. Toilets accessible with pay machine that gives voucher for shop/restaurant. Free parking. Can get busy. We really enjoyed this market when we visites last year and the food was wonderful. I loved the construction of the wooden beams and being able to look out onto the surrounding farms. We had the Seelachsfilet mit Kartoffelsalat & Remoulade, Paniertes Schnitzel mit Pommes oder Kartoffelsalat, and Currywurst mit Pomnmes. All were very good. Great place to buy farmer products, eat in the some local food (home made cakes are ❤️), there are also very nice biergarten and children playground (inside and outside), I can definitely recommend it. The portions in are huge. Always very crowded. Food ist ok, but not exceptional Stopped here for lunch and the building containing a grocery store and a market for lovar produce and whatnot looked very idyllic. I chose the swine gyros with rice and a bottle of water. For this they charged 16,40€. Incomprehensibly expensive for a gyros plate and water really. I would have given a better rating, had it been extremely tasty. Unfortunately it was too salty and the meet too hard to feel like proper gyros. They even charged you for using the toilet within the facilities. This might be a good place for shopping but I’m reviewing the place from the perspective of having lunch. This spot used to be amazing. Now the cakes are dry and tasteless, and after buying food in the restaurant, you then have to pay an additional 50 cents per person to use the toilet. This is only returned to you if you go to the toilet before paying in the - be warned… This is a local food shop and a canteen type of restaurant. Store has a great variety of local goods, from veggies to meat and cheeses and from pasta to liquors. Some are nicely priced and others have a "local" premium. Good place to get something for home or as a gift for far away friends. Restaurant area has large, airy seating area and you can watch the goats and the Autobahn from the window. Standard German fare for the food with a great selection of drinks and cakes. Nice place to wait for your car to charge, or just stop over for the food.
