This is the best restaurant and meal out we've had in a long while. Don't be put off by the industrial estate approach it's a gem. Friendly helpful staff, amazing surroundings and decor all help the experience. The food is just excellent, too many menu choices to review but enough to suit every budget and taste. selection of wines by the glass/carafe/bottle. We have eaten here twice, so far on our holiday. The first time at lunch and we were impressed enough with the menu and the service to book for an evening later in the week; and we were not disappointed. We had a full three course meal with wine, with a price that was not cheap (but at this quality it should not be), but not overly expensive; and certainly worth the money. The fish dishes are exceptional and worthy of trying. Definitely a place I would revisit and recommend. A really fun restaurant, nice inside with lovely staff. The food was very tasty. Restaraunt L'Ovny looked a nice location and a menu we have two boys aged 12&10 and told them they would need to try something new or go safe with chicken or fish and chips. We all ate the €25 set menu L'Ovny and weren't dissapointed. The service was great and the food reasonably priced, well presented, beautifully prepared and delicious ! Met by a very friendly French man who I presume was the owner with excellent English. The waiter was keen and eager to help and served us well even with our broken French. Food was served quickly and smartly presented and tasted lovely. I highly recommend this for visiting families. Very kid friendly. Well worth the short trip out of town to visit L’OVNY for our final meal in Benodet. Best food we had all week including ‘BBQ de Mer’ mix of grilled seafood and Coulant Chocolat. Also loved the ambience inside the ‘UFO’ (there was the option to sit outside on the terrace). Would recommend for a couple or family outing. Very unusual building but beautifully constructed.Food was very tasty and the service was and very friendly.A variety of people eating lunch and kids are welcome too.Our lunch was superb..we had the 25 euros 50 menu and a carafe of St Nicolas de Bourgeil wine..no complaints at all !!!!
