I stopped at Veranda Tou Onirou with my husband whilst exploring the local area - and our visit was one of the culinary highlights of our week long visit to Cyprus. The restaurant has a lovely welcoming feel, with lots of seating and a lovely outdoor veranda area. The welcome and service throughout the meal was exceptional - warm, welcoming and genuine. The food was absolutely outstanding. For lunch we shared the Dolmades which were beautifully flavoured, with a very generous portion. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and I would absolutely recommend that you stop at Veranda Tou Onirou for lunch or dinner. One of the best cafes in Cyprus. Family-owned, the staff was super friendly. The place is full of art inside, you feel like in a contemporary arts museum, not a cafe. Lemonades were great too. We had a wonderful time here. The ladies were super nice and the food was fabulous. Even got some delicious sweets on the house. This place looks absolutely stunning and makes you feel at home. I absolutely recommend ❤️ Very nice setting nestled in the mountains. Happy go lucky people who are running and serving at the restaurant. Passionate about food and drinks. Loved the extra touch with the old lady (grandma-like) who came often and enquired whether we were comfortable and liked the good. Loved the home-made lemonade especially the presentation. A hidden gem in the mountains. Superb food and really quaint atmosphere. If you want to go somewhere quiet and mindful then this is a great choice. All the food is fresh home made and the homemade lemonade is very refreshing and organic. Highly recommended and absolutely worth the drive if you are not nearby. 5/5 What a find. Fantastic home cooked food, the moussaka & marinated chicken souvlaki were to perfection with great flavours. Served with flat breads, salad, tzatziki & tahini. Chilled vibe on the colourful terrace overlooking the mountains and very friendly staff. A very warm and welcoming place. Staff very friendly and attentive. Decor unusual, a little quirky and made us smile. Food was lush and plentiful. Cant fault it and very reasonably priced. In addition to our meat there were pitta, dips and greek salad. Yummy. Then free velvet cake and home grown plums. This place is a little gem. Had a lovely stop off at Veranda Tou Onirou whilst touring through some of the wineries in the area. Good tunes. Beautiful venue. Great service. Lovely food. Definitely worth a visit!
