Great day fishing, it was lovely being the only one on a monday, excellent location, plus facilities. very friendly staff, I returned after the 'cafe's' refurbishment. My first impressions were positive, the indoors seating area was much lighter and more modern looking. The outside was the same - but that is a thing as it is a nice place to sit. Our orders were taken quickly and food/drinks brought to us in time. I has coffee and cake, see photo and both were good. The prices seem to have increased since I last visited, not doubt to pay for the refurbishment. However given the quality of the food/drink and the environment, it was reasonable value for money. I would certainly return. Had a great day on the silver Lake. Caught lots of bream, few tench, goldfish, crucian carp Had a day there today caught variety of well looked after lakes, bailiff very help. Will be visiting again soon Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, no litter, friendly helpful people, clean amenities and the were biting! The lodge was not open for food and drinks today, but when it is open, the food and service is excellent!. Very nice Plenty of parking and toilet facilities. Some of the pegs needed the trees cutting back as made it hard to cast out. Lodge is permanently closed so not open for food or drinks, toilet very dirty and doesnt appear to get cleaned regular. In my view the fishing is overpriced for what it is, when you can pay the same price to goto the best day ticket waters in the country. all lakes jam packed they need to reduce the number of tickets sold. the match lake with my dad.. great little lake, has lots of variety from king carp crucian carp tench bream roach and some cool brown and orange goldfish some are even fantail.. always catch well.. well looked after lakes Been here many times in the last 2 years and had some really great days fishing, but the last time I came I blanked and again this time too, plenty showing but just not feeding. And lovely well maintained fishery clean toilets on site cafe. We’ll be back 🎣🎣🎣 fishing 🎣 The lakes have been refurbished in the last few years and is now a excellent fishing location. Easy booking and big fish! Told to come for 12 turn up for a walk around early everybody setting up before 11, brimmed out every swim, pasty bashing at best nothing of any size, way to expensive for what it is when you can go to berners hall for the same price a night with the chance of a 50lb Friendly staff, but the swims on the predator lake need a lot of attention, some are in complete disrepair, others are unsafe at best, the owner needs to make this lake safe to fish. Haven't found it open yet went today it was locked up despite being marked open on the net. Admittedly last time was on passing during Winter. Lovely venue, great for a social, we hired the specimen lake, been here 24, with another night left, but unfortunately don’t feel these are specimens, landed around 15 so far, nothing over 20lb smallest being 4lb, and only 3 out of the had decent mouths. Shame really as is a nice place. But we feel the stamp of isn’t.
