As a instructor, and bringing my friend on her first ever with Mauro, he is the best instructor I have ever met. From the quality of equipment, the level of instruction, the fun and just overall helpfulness, I literally cannot Barracuda more. We will be back just to with Mauro and Barracuda!!! Scuba was the most wonderful memory I had in Lanzarote. Our instructor, Mauro, was incredibly enthusiastic, humorous, and also very professional. Underwater, we saw many colorful little fish, and the water was crystal clear. Mauro also took videos and photos for us as a keepsake. I highly this experience—Mauro is truly a charismatic person. I have a flight tonight, so he suggested that I avoid going too deep this time. There should be at least a three-hour break between and flying on the same day. I found Mauro via an online search as he came highly recommended - and he still surpassed all expectations. Speaking to him prior to arriving in Lanzarote, I was already put at ease that he was professional, safe and knowledgeable - particularly important as my partner is a novice diver. Communication was always easy, with Mauro providing clear information in order to help us make decisions on where and when to dive, as well as plenty of additional local recommendations on restaurants and bars! was a fun where we saw marine life - additionally, Mauro was particularly conscientious and responsibly. All equipment was safe and in excellent condition - and he even took pains to put it away himself afterwards so that we wouldn't have to come back to the centre, but could enjoy our day out on a different part of the island (which was not at all necessary but greatly appreciated). It also doesn't hurt that he is friendly and has a sense of humour! All in all, Mauro went over and above to ensure we had a wonderful diving, and in Lanzarote as a whole - cannot enough. Everything was very flexible and explained verx well I had a doing 2 shore this morning with one of the instructors, Sergio, we saw angel sharks, octopus, rays, and so many more. Wasn’t expecting to have any photos and videos but Sergio had an action cam and took some videos os us underwater, super cool! I really enjoyed the teaching style of Carlos, he was very knowledgable and practical, explained the theory clearly and incorporated the practice with a regular dive, I did peak buoyancy as one of my choices and he made sure to incorporate that not only in the buoyancy but the rest of my too, I also got to apply my photography techniques to my subsequent as well as the navigation and other practical skills and tips to set up the equipment, etc. As a buddy he was also a pleasure to with and the communication and rhythm flowed amazingly, he also provided very useful feedback after each dive. He was calm and confident when it mattered, but most of the we were laughing and joking (even under the water!). We went to Puerto del Carmen first, and I had so much fun that I went to the Atlantic Museum the next weekend! After recently completing my Open Water Course, I did two fun with Barracuda center☺️ My instructor, Mauro, organized two whole new experiences for me, making it so memorable! He was not only very professional but also incredibly fun, friendly, and full of energy. His excitement was contagious, and it made every moment feel special. He made sure I felt safe and confident the whole time, guiding me through every part of the with patience and encouragement. The equipment was in condition, the boat was well-prepared, and everything was clearly explained before we even got in the water. For the first time, I explored a shipwreck and did a boat dive, both felt like stepping into a different world! Starting the with a backward roll off the boat added a little adrenaline, and being further out at sea gave us the chance to explore sites. It is for sure a whole new experience. We chose Barracuda due to the excellent reviews and reasonable price. He and his student were totally professional and knew exactly how to talk to children and keep them safe throughout. Above all, my son said it was not only the highlight of his holiday but the highlight of his childhood ! I also want to add that Mauro did not charge a penny extra for the multitude of videos and photos that he later sent us. He clearly does it for the love of it and I would 100 per cent . The suit was quality and 7 mm, which suits the area and the goggles were, with a difference, the best ones I have ever used. They were soft rubber and they adapted perfectly, and were incredibly comfortable. I would go again.
