Amazing experience! Loved the village, loved the beach, loved the house, loved the lessons with very professional instructors. Loved the many nice I met there. 5 stars with no asterisks whatsoever!!! place and crew! I stayed 8 days in the Morisson's hostel organised by ZooPark and 5 days surfing. The part was great, well organised and fun. It's a bigger school so foe each session there would be from 8 to 50 - for usually 2-5 instructors. The were grand, super fun and helpful with tips, namely Pablito, Facu, Borja and Andrés. They teach a nice technique and plenty of the students could easily stand up on their boards on their first day. The accomodation I was in was nice, it's a hostel, so you basically sleep in the same space with the guys you meet every morning at 10:30AM for surfing, creating easy bonds and relationships. The big lack of our accomodation was only one bathroom for 10 - which can be super challenging when everyone gets back from surfing, or at anytime if the hostel is full. Luckily I spent the majority of the nights with up to 4 people, but the last nights were crowded at the hostel. The kitchen area was well equipped and everyone had left basics like olive oil, sugar and salt to share (including myself). So all in all a experience, would it and planning on coming back next year! 🍊 The best school and really fun atmosphere! Had such a good time at ZooPark for one week, fantastic beach, super professional and friendly instructors, nice house close to everything in town with a rooftop, and a really good place to go as a solo traveler and socialize! Met fantastic and had an overall amazing time. Ksenia and Sergio are really sweet and quickly to respond and help out if you need anything. Highly recommend! Our daughter had the best day of her holiday, with ZooPark Famara school. The lady instructer spoke perfect English and enhanced her confidence so much. The rest of the family and our friends had a time too as we hired wetsuits and body boards from the shop. Famara is a fantastic bay to have fun in the sea. Highly recommended ZooPark to help you make the most of it. This was absolutely and can't wait to go back! We went as a group and stayed at their house whilst taking daily classes (which last until 3pm). The were incredible, making sure we were taught something new everyday (without overwhelming us with info) and that we felt at ease in the water. The beach is a 5 min walk from the school which makes it even better. Thank you Martin, Fran and Pedro! 🫶 Very friendly working there, lessons are well organized and Manu is one of the best I've ever had. He is really passionate about teaching the theory behind surfing. Everyone there does a job. Accommodation is something else though. You shouldn't have to share one bathroom with 10 people. Had a private lesson here and it was incredible! Alessio at the shop is super helpful and kept checking the weather to make sure that we go out at just the right time and on the right day for it. My instructor was Andres and he was really patient and supportive. You'll be amazed at just how easily you can pick up once Andres explains what to do! Hopefully I return to Famara soon, and if I do, I'll definitely be back for more lessons! Cannot this place enough! Immediately felt super welcome, didn’t feel the need to look for a school any further. I strongly taking a lesson with Manu, it felt like he really wants you to understand the sea and fall in love with surfing. Can’t wait to come back as soon as possible:) Wow, what a team. I reached out the evening before to see if it would be possible to book a lesson and a pick up/drop off from the other side of the island. Yes, yes, yes!!!!! We couldn’t be happier with “Pepe” as our girls’ instructor! From the very first lesson, he created an environment that was fun, safe, and incredibly engaging. Pepe’s passion for is contagious, and it’s clear he genuinely loves sharing his knowledge and skills. Thanks to his patient and encouraging teaching style, our daughters have not only gained confidence in the water but have also developed a true love for the sport. Pepe makes every session exciting, tailoring his approach to suit their abilities and ensuring they always leave with smiles on their faces (and stories to tell).
