It has a terrace facing a meander of the river, so you can enjoy your chilled Żubr beer while enjoying some nice birds at the end of your birding day. Good value. The place is located in very nice natural and quiet area with a big terrace. Owner is also very nice and helpful. Breakfast perfect. Rooms are decorated in historical style which we also liked. Only disadvantage of the accomodation is number of insects (various spices) directly in the room which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. The manor is beautiful and surrounded by stunning nature with a terrace facing the pond where one can have breakfast or just spend some time chatting, reading or drinking beer. If you prefer to break your fast inside, the dining room is lovely and in the evenings available to guests for reading or board gaming. Everyone was nice and helpful. The breakfasts, as a few other reviews mentioned, were vegetarian and indeed delectable - while we are not morning people we attended every day and stuff outselves with fresh local and homemade food. It’s possible to borrow bikes from the hosts and ride to nearby Tykocin, and the hosts and staff have recommendations and information leaflets for various activities in the area (like a balloon flight or an evening ferry trip). This time we preferred to explore by ourselves on bikes and we had a great time. Recommended: take sunscreen and mosquito repellant (but if you don’t have the latter the hosts provide them). A rare thing in Poland: Windows are equipped with mosquito nets, which is excellent!
