We weren’t allowed to pay with a card despite other customers clearly paying with a card for other products. We were told that ice-cream cannot be paid with a card although i have paid for ice-cream there with card in the past. When I pointed that out I was ignored. We were even kicked out of the premises after we sat down to consume our ice-cream. Again, Impolitely we were told that ice-cream is for take away only. Mind you that there was barely anyone inside. I am leaving in disbelief. I’ve been bringing foreign customers to this place over the ice-cream shop down the road for a while as I like the variety of local cakes and the atmosphere, but after today you lost many future customers I bring to the town. Some of the baked tasted days old while other cakes tasted good. Coffee was but the service was awful. Don't look like a blonde blue eyed Caucasian? You will be chased out with eye rolls and rude comments and gestures. This one woman asked part of my family to leave. Get out now she said, bc 2 of us ordered coffee in a to go cup out of the 8 of us eating there. So rude, it's unbelievable. I have never faced rasicm in America for my tan skin family like I did in this Cafe. Someone later told me they probably thought we were refugees which makes it even worse and not excusable. Wonderful cakes coffee. Area is very nice and relax. Service excellent. Unfortunetly I Didn't met Mike he was a sleep. But well done wurth visit for a nice relaxful coffee, bread and cakes. The Strawberry cake was great and so was the survice fast, simple and easy. Super!
