A gem of a course , well presented and a test Friendly helpful staff Went here for lunch on a Sunday, staff are smiley and friendly and always nice to speak to. Food is very good, the roast is impressive with a choice of meats, veg and potatoes (different types) been a number of times never had a bad meal. I would say the deserts vary from time to time, I'm not a fan of cooked fruit so I was disappointed last visit in this regard, but it's not a deal breaker Tuesday March 5th was my second visit in 12 months. The facilities are very good. course was a little heavy under foot, but in condition. It was playing long due to windy condition but enjoyable. The full English was simple but very nice. We had a great day out on the course, only to be greeted with a wonderful gammon roast to finish the day. The venue was excellent and the meal was very good. The outlook over the course was very picturesque. The whole evening was very enjoyable. Lovely course with some very interesting holes, some well placed water hazards and bunkers to test all levels of golf. Greens were interesting. Pro shop friendly and welcoming. Bars serve cold beers and drinks and food. Would highly recommend. Very well priced. Check out their food/golf packages for even more savings. 5 stars. Even though it was "carry" only due to being very wet after poor weather in the middle of January, the course was very well kept and in condition, all things considered. A friendly reception at both the bar and the pro shop and the breakfast was very nice too. We'd love to visit again - hopefully in better weather - and enjoy another round. Highly recommended We held our Society Day at The Bentley Club for 20 players. Claire helped us with the booking and ensured everything was ready for the day. The Shop and Course Marshall were extremely helpful when we arrived. The bar staff couldn’t have done more for us. They were brilliant and made our day feel very special. Even though it’s been a dry summer the course was very enjoyable to play. Lots of trees and water to challenge even the best of golfers, but still fun for the medium to high handicap players.
