We stayed here for one night on Saturday - the staff accommodated us as our friends were staying the weekend. Very lovely to deal with. The site of FAB, gorgeous views of the sea and very peaceful. People were very respectful of the kids too when driving around. We felt very safe. Facilities are fab, personal shower rooms, not cubical! Playground and laundry. And 2 mins stroll to a fab chipper, big shop and ice cream parlour. Would defo recommend... The drive up through the Mourne mountain was breathtaking!!! We spent a sunny weekend at Annalong with our caravan, young kids and dog. What struck me outside of the stunning location even driving to the place was the quality of the service provided at check-in and then the size of the place. It’s predominantly made up of mobile homes with the front line of a mobile home block reserved for touring caravans and campervans. You can’t beat that view! The facilities were fantastic, very clean and there is a huge playground for the little ones. There are excellent food options in walking distance and a lovely coastal walk along the rocky beachfront. If we stayed for longer we would have explored the town and neighbourhood a bit more but we spent most of the time at the park. We’ll definitely be back! We had a lovely break, spacious, clean and modern static caravan with access to the rocky beach. Quiet location, reasonable price and great WiFi connection (can be lacking in some sites). Would highly recommend! What a great experience! This beautiful location on the coast of Ireland, overlooking the Irish sea, with all of its rich history and incredible beaches is a jewel for caravans or RVs. The folks who run it are truly caring, lovely, wonderful people, and the residents are such friendly warm conversationalists. Everyone makes you feel like their family. We were sooooo impressed by just how clean it was; not a scrap of paper or trash anywhere. The lawns perfectly manicured, the whole thing was just an amazing experience. This is a great gateway to the Mourne mountains and the Mourne wall. We would go in the day and explore the amazing countryside and then return at night to nearby Newcastle or surrounding area for wonderful meals and a great visit to any of its many pubs. We couldn’t recommend it more, if we could, we’d give it 100 stars, and we’d give Paul and his family 101.
