Pool was a bit disappointing only 1m deep, pool is a bit cold for young babies. Changing rooms are ok however they are looking very "tired" lockers were I poor condition, doors drooping and a lot of them broken. However in the place were great they were friendly and helpful and the Life guards were alert and keeping watch constantly and the facilities were clean and tidy, I think the Newry, Mourne and Down council need to give this place a revamp Wouldn't be the greatest, but it's closing down for a year at the end of this month to be rejuvenated, it will be closed for a year but hopefully better then Went here in recommendation from my brother, as Newry Pool is closed AGAIN. Took my 18 month old by myself for her first swim. The were wonderful, especially Niamh, who helped me with great safety advice. The building is showing signs of it's age, but it was spotlessly clean and a very safe environment for babies. I didn't get to use the steam room this time, but I'll definitely be back. The receptionist was lovely too. Fantastic center with the loveliest of staff. I spent time here doing a swimming teacher course. I was so impressed with the brilliant facilities and especially the staff. Chris and Paul my instructors could not have been nicer. Other also were so lovely, friendly and helpful. Well done everyone!! A 1st class experience. Thank you very much indeed!! This place didn’t let us jump in, my freind Oliver was very sad and cried when the mean took his friends goggles. The woman who told my large freind David to get out of the hot tub was having to much fun on her walky talky, she had more fun than all of the people I went with 😭 My partner and his friend who has special educational needs went here on sat with our 3 kids they wer approached by a member of and told there was an inappropriate comment made to a woman her being the only woman in the pool asked what was said he didn't comment to try solve the issue..seems to be if your face doesn't fit your not liked!! Worst experience for my kids!! Can see by the reviews it's not a good pool to go..also don't seem to like loyalist tattoos!! Absolute Disgrace, came with a youth group and they may as well have got screamed at for smiling in the pool, one lady claimed we were unable to use any of the health suites despite having paid for their use and then further claimed we hadn’t even covered all of the campers payments. A complete Joke!!!!! The only saving grace of this place is the receptionist who could not have been nicer, despite the rest of the acting like spoilt brats. Lovely receptionist.
