We used the pub stop Campervan Aire. Arrived around 8.30pm. We were still able to get food. Not bad. Average bar food I'd say. We got full hookup for £15, but got a voucher to use for breakfast the next morning in the post office tea rooms. We stayed in our Motorhome in the designated parking area, £10 without EHU or £20 with, if you choose the £20 option you get a £10 voucher to use in the pub or the post office shop/coffee shop. Black,Grey water disposal and fresh water available, onsite toilets/showers currently being renovated. Recommended for a good value relaxing stay, nice atmosphere and welcoming. Great spot. Food is first class and the staff are amazing. Beautiful big venue,(it's like the TARDIS ) very homely but a little out of the way. Though it is in a beautiful setting. Food just ok. We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. We may return for an evening meal. Had a lovely overnight stay on Saturday night in the wee cottage at the post office I made a mistake in my booking. And the owner/ staff couldn't have been nicer by upgrading us. Great craic great staff. Lovely food. Had a great time. I would highly recommend this wee spot. Can't wait to my nx visit 😎 My wife and I stayed over night in our motorhome and had food in the pub. The food and service were perfect as was the pub and the location. We had the pleasure of meeting Mark, the owner and his delightful children the following morning and we're recommended the Post Office cafe across the road run by his aunt, Caroline. Well what a gem of a cafe it was. We couldn't have been made more welcome in the area by these lovely people. Basil Sheils and the cafe are an absolute must visit. We booked the Loft apartment and really enjoyed our stay. The loft was very clean, well equipped, and cosy. Well heated and all facilities worked well. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar after. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend. Fantastic stay, quaint place that is bigger that it appears. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the bar and restaurant are great. The food is delicious, met Chef Connor McCreesh and praised his menu. HIGHLY recommend the stay.
