Just amazing, if you love transport you have to visit the museum, especially on special days. It is a really great with running on three different routes through public streets on opening days with traffic. We visited it on the festival in 2021. It's very nice. We took many different tramways and different kinds of (one steam, one diesel and two other electric one). Staff there are very friendly. We had a nice talk with those young guys working with the steam engine. And a nice talk with a driver. A nice chat with the one selling souvenirs (he is a fan of railway and took a lot of pictures). Hope they can offer English guide paper in the (right now only French one available). If you want to visit it, visit during the summer time when the run. You will have an impressive experience. Most exhibits are fully accessible, which is usually not the case in other similar museums. Friendly staff. We visited last Sunday 09/06/24 and had a great time at this excellent museum. Well worth the effort to come here from England specifically to see this collection. Staff were friendly and plenty of information available. Three different routes and lots of different to ride on. It was lovely just sat outside in the sun having a beer and watching all the old come and go. A coach load of very enthusiastic German aficionados meant even more vehicles were running. I have visited many museums throughout Europe and so far this is my favourite. Hope to visit again, perhaps for the night operation special event later this year. Wonderful experience at the museum. Was a 3 day festival and we got to go on all the including the steam tram. Well maintained and great journeys into the local towns. All the staff are volunteers and extremely knowledgeable. Check the timetable and go and visit. Great little museum! Absolutely recommend it. The staff were really nice, we had a great time. We took a ride on the steam tram, it was a very beautiful experience. The display pieces and the miniature art gave us a glimpse into the past of Belgian transport history. It was an honor for us to experience a piece of living Belgian history.
