Rail biking on an old railroad track. Well-maintained track plus carriages. You can choose the 6 or 8 km circuit or combine the 2 as we did for 14km from Warnant to Maredsous. You can stay at Maredsous for 2 hours, visit the abbey and drink a beer. Recommended! Then you continue up further or come down. The downward ride was the most fun part where the rail bike rolled down itself on downhill slope. All in all, a fun activity for the family. Great family activity - especially in combination with walking to and visiting the Maredsous Abbey. The pedaling seats are adjustable - our kids were tall enough to reach the pedals from age 7/8. Everyone should try this at least once. Great fun for all the family. Although dog friendly it is very noisy and you can see through the base of the rail bike (which are dog was terrified of!).
