Starting with the good, the place is BEAUTIFUL and the rooms are enormous, the food was pretty BUT there is a buffet breakfast included but once it was over... They did not refill it, so basically the group of 7 people had like half of 1 egg and I slice of bacon, nevertheless taste was and was also good, as a non polish I have to mention that there was no attention by the reception in English or any other language and this is a hotel right... Any way the people did as much as possible to provide a service. And last... There was a restaurant in the hotel but all the tables were reserved so even though we where guests... Couldn't take dinner in. Great location, but we arrived there a bit late (19:00), and had a feeling that nobody wanted us. There was a family gathering or a wedding at the hotel, and we were a bit uncomfortable at first. However in the morning this feeling disappeared with the new staff. Highly recommend to stay in the apartments, more space, privacy and more. Stopped only for lunch. Truly beautiful complex, I expect it's fantastic during summer and autumn. Food is but overpriced, prices come with the benefits if the location We came for the location — honestly, it’s beautiful. A real countryside dream. Too bad that’s where the dream turns into a nightmare. We walked in, looking for a table, and the bartender greeted us with a look like we just kicked her dog. “Take any free table,” she barked, as if we’d asked for a kidney instead of, you know, a place to sit. Great start. We sat down outside and ordered rosół, duck, rabbit, goat cheese salad, and two iced teas. Turns out Daffy Duck was probably still flapping around the back, and Bugs Bunny was on strike. The teas came after 15 minutes. The food? Nothing. 30 minutes passed. Another 30. And another. We asked. “We’ll compensate you,” they said. With what? A machine? At this point, it felt like the entire staff had taken an edible and were waiting for the walls to start breathing. No one had a clue what was happening. Every looked like a hostage situation — people sitting, staring, and wondering where the hell their meals were. So we got up. I went to pay for the teas. The same lovely bartender who acted like we ruined her weekend? She flat-out ignored me. Ghosted me harder than a Tinder date after a weird joke. I finally got someone else’s attention, told them to cancel our order, and said we’re leaving. They didn’t care. One just nodded and wandered off like I’d asked for the time. As we walked out, we heard a waitress mutter in Polish something about “foreigners and their impatience.” Nice. My girlfriend’s Polish — surprise, sweetheart, we understood that. But honestly, we weren’t even mad anymore. Just amazed. I don’t know what kind of farm-to-table operation they’re running, but if they were out there personally chasing rabbits and shooting ducks, it would’ve been faster. In the we wasted here — nearly two hours — we managed to drive to Wrocław, find parking, sit down in another restaurant, order, get served, eat, and write this review. Stunning place. Garbage experience. If the staff keeps running things like this, that beautiful old mill will be underwater real soon. Impressive location and service. Exquisite food. Many famous people visit the place. Very food but less than average. Granted the waitress was nice, that’s about all she had going for her. No waiting skills. We were handed our own menus and asked to pick a of our own. Took a long for her to show up. We had to ask about the taster’s option of selection of the three beer types. We said one such option and before we had a chance to add that everyone would like the same thing, she was gone. So we had to physically go find her and ask for a few more. She did not ask us how the food was or if we needed anything else such as at least napkins, or salt and pepper which were not on the table. Just the bare minimum for which we had to chase her. It’s a shame for such a nicely situated place to have such less mediocre service. I wonder how many return customers they lost. Great food ( amazing mashed potatoes and beef chick , vegetarian option pretty upsetting but I can forget it) stunning location and architecture! Pity about the service, waitress who made you feel like if you were disturbing her… pretty uninterested and slightly rude. We loved our stay at this magical place. It was hard to leave the apartment right over the old water wheel after just 2 nights. The rooms, the renovated watermill and the whole park with the pond are simply ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Breakfast was great. Really appreciated the (probably) locally made fresh bread and the French toasts. While it is definitely not the cheapest B&B in the area, I definitely recommend booking a stay. Beautiful place. Very tasty food. Very popular, therefore dead slow services Stayed overnight and dined on two different occasions. The place is beautiful and very well kept, the hotel is tastefully decorated, room was very clean on both occasions. The surroundings are very well kept and nice. We enjoyed the food both times, the kitchen works well, the servers are kind, but overworked and/or inexperienced. It would be to clean the tables more often as well. The breakfast was set up at the which we found very nice first around, and next it was a buffet instead. Would have been nice to have a proper espresso - the machine coffee is mediocre at best. We will most likely be back again, the place is very charming and it was an overall a positive experience.
