So…BRING A PICKNICK :-) The TOP place in Belgium I have been so far, parking 500m in front gate, wc available in forrest, old lady at entrance speaks a little English but she was incredibly kind and helpful, the prices are gorgeous, is reconstructed, free of people, very beautiful, everywhere is silence, this place is extremly relaxing, I recommend it to everyone who want to rest from everything, go there and dream your dreams, when you will be quite you will see the ghosts... Had a great time visiting these ruins. Nice views from the walls! The fort has amazing views and is so peaceful. What an amazing site to explore! Parking is very limited and can be difficult to navigate. Beautifu castlel ruins on top of a small hill. Amazing landscape with small stream and forest. Steps could be dangerous when wet. Very impressive ruins, nice treasure hunt for kids, great views. Must see! Just be sure to check opening hours on the website. Peaceful and Scenic Experience. It offers a serene atmosphere with stunning views—perfect for a peaceful walk, about an hour in total. But you can stay as long as you want till 5pm. It quite and not crowed at all. Along the way, we spotted many butterflies, a sneak, caterpillars, and plenty of lizards, which added to the charm. Walk next the the river bank is cool as well. There's a small museum on-site, and we enjoyed a light snack during our visit. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.. Park near the round about. An amazing place to discover! Ruins from the mediaeval period, where your mind can travel through time! At the bottom of the castle, they created a really interesting garden to discover plants used at the time. The staff is really welcoming and they produce their own beers! A place to go!❤️ An exciting place for children as Well as for adults. The view is magnifique. The stuff is really friendly, they can explain you every little détail concerning the place. There is a nice trail in the wood just next to the ruines. After the visit you can enjoy local beer in a little authentique bar or to buy some souvenirs. Beautiful castle, with the possibility to imagine how it was used 500 years ago. Be sure not to skip the little garden! Amongst many other ruins in the area, this one is extraordinary. Beautifully cleaned up and kept by a local group of experts. There’s a small entrance fee, but this comes with a friendly and knowledgeable introduction. Highly recommended!
