I loved the ride in the exceptional amphi-bus, once in the water, the kids had a chance to captain the boat for a minute. I found it too pricey though and didn't like waiting in the rain to enter the bus, there should be a shelter or open the bus 10 mins before departure for people to shelter. Visitor center of barrage, with bike rental and laser shooting game on premises. The whole center has seen better days and feels quite dated. Wonderful Extremely overpriced. Only for the water ride it was 23 euro per person. For like 45 min trip. That is 92 euro for 4!! Kids pay almost full price as well. Pay few euros more, then there is a 15 min laser game included. Guns are weird, pretty heavy for kids, and you have to aim at a weird place, on the side of a sensor on the gun. We didnt really enjoy. The guided walk in the dam was not possible... Furthermore my wife and kids had to go to the toilet. She described they had to pay 50 cents, and the place looks like you go to a jail... Overall, I did it for my wife and kids, but I would not have done it for these prices. It's ok but they aren't super friendly and food is ok. Not great but not bad either... Their site and communication could use an update... First day we stood for a closed door... (Private party apparently) Well maintained and great bikes, and electric scooters, and great cycling routes available around the lakes! Museum of the dam was very interesting, and although tour in English and Dutch, there was a guide to follow for English guests, which helped out immensely - thank you! Great electric bikes and scooters! Good selection of beer, but food is quite expensive. Staff was difficult to get a hold of as they actively try to avoid guests... One of the three cocktails on the menu was not available (reason unknown to the staff). Burgers look like the patties are way too small for the buns. "Croquettes à la fromage" were a good deal though! Long waiting times on drinks, even though only half the tables were filled. Had to pay before recieving our order. Second order was ridiculous: ordered two Piña Coladas and about 15 minutes later some other staff came over and asked us to pay. After that, we waited another 15 mintes on the actual drinks... Worst service ever! Way too much pineapple and too little coconut... Hands down the worst food that has ever been in my mouth. Within 20 minutes after eating their “food” I was sick. I would recommend only having a beverage here and eating elsewhere. 🤢 Extremely expensive for worst food ever!Soaked in oil and rude waiters who forced us to eat something we send back and even charged us for it. This is a joke don't come here if you don’t want to feel sick and broke 🤢🤢🤢 Absolute the worst food experience i’ve had in my life. Nothing was tasting good, food was perhaps from a week ago, if i could give them zero stars, they would have gotten that. Keep away, its a tourist trap Seven months ago, I booked tickets for the amphibus as part of a road trip my family and I were doing through Wallonia. A couple of hours before the ride, people from the park was so nice to call us to explain the ride could not go ahead due to a problem with the vehicle and they told me to write an e-mail for the reimbursement... To this day, I had not gotten my money back, despite sending three e-mails and calling them several times (of which they picked up just once, and even that time nothing came from it). Update March '24: they have returned my money so I am adding a star, but just one, because it is annoying that they only reacted when I criticised them publicly.
