Love this place. The team are always super helpful and happy to see you. Food is a size and a very price. Really variety from full traditional to salads as well. Fantastic breakfast. Can't fault it & the price. The dinner not so good. Ordered the roast beef & a steak knife wouldn't have cut it. All the taste cooked out of it. But i ate it as I was starving. I left the place with a full stomach. So the poritions are good. Friendly staff & a large open space. Excellent value for money. Traditional fare in clean transport cafe environment. We had sausage bap but we were impressed with the lunchtime menu on show. A very friendly woman worked at this parking lot last night (Thursday, 13.02.25). Tasty food and just for 4.5£, because half of the amount paid for parking goes towards food in the restaurant (from 17:00 untill 18:30 for truck drivers). Convenient shower. Sorry for the broken salt shaker yesterday. Greetings from Grodno, Belarus Stopped off on an airport run and had a great cooked breakfast, served by two nice members of staff. Tasty food at reasonable price, spotless and toilet area clean too if anyone is put off with it being a 'trucker's cafe.' 1st time here, service was slow but they were busy, food was average and a bit expensive really compared to a lot of places we frequent. 3 miles away from M56 Junction 10. i think the reviews from GM over this Local are a little bit over exaggerated , so i leave this one to balance a little bit the Golden Aura . All day breakfast, with a coffee and an apple cake £15.70 . this is Motorway services prices. The is nothing special , and the place it looks like was built in the '80 , feel like a Canteen for me . so , Voilla mystery solved here . HGV overnight parking ; no fuel Pumps ; there's a 🍏Services 500 feet down the road . Adieu. Properly food, excellent service and location just off the motorway with plenty of parking. The Challenger pictured was £13 and went down easily with a coffee included. It wasn't greasy and swimming in oil and came with three slices of toast. Highly recommended, busy spot so expect a slight wait for your order to be taken however once ordered, your food comes out quickly! What a great find! We arrived 8.45am Saturday morning... To a fairly typical older style open airy (plenty of seating) roadside cafe. Receiving a pleasant welcome we ordered coffee and a teacakes each.... In the time it took me to walk next door to Londis/petrol station and back for paracetamol the coffees and teacakes arrived.... Teacakes we're fresh and tasty with real butter... The coffee was dark roast tasting and perfect strength. Value was excellent, other establishments easily £3-5 more. Casting an eye over the menu... Bearing in mind everything is freshly cooked, it was very value. Other reviews criticing value surely cannot be comparing like for like. When I popped next door for the paracetamols the londis fuel stop included a Starbucks and Greggs, why on earth would anyone consider pre packed, long shelf life produce? Support the independents.... Stopped here overnight for the 1st time.wont be the last.both the ladies were so friendly.showers red hot and free.foot spot on and cooked to order.this is how it should be.well done👌👌 Very welcoming and friendly from booking on the phone to arriving and having tea here for an overnight stop. Safe truck parking overnight, just a shame I can't get in for as out early in the morning. Would highly recommend. Stopped here randomly as I had just covered over 200 miles on my motorbike and I was close to shitting myself. Great humour from the girls working here, they called me boring for not wanting custard, ice cream or cream on my chocolate cake. If I'm ever near here I will stop again, it's got a lovely 90's community feel to it. Parked here for the night in my HGV. Had a nice hot shower and a stunning dinner. Food was amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. 100% recommend.
