We were made to feel welcome and had wonderful conversations with Michelle and her daughters as well as having the chance to meet and thank The chef.The food was amazing. I eat seafood chowder in many restaurants and this is by far the best chowder that I have experienced in a very long time. The wheaten bread is homemade by one of the lovely women who served us, and as we found out on our second visit,the new owner. It was wonderful.We liked her bread so much we asked about buying a loaf to take home and she gave us one and wouldn't hear of us paying for it. The lasagna was perfect, and the chicken stack so large,we had to take some of it home with us. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked ourselves in for tomorrow night. I know we won't find anywhere better. The second visit was exactly what we had hoped for and we loved the kindness and conversation. I think we will make a trip up this way just for another meal. Dont bother with Ballycastle restaurants, just eat here! Fantastic meals!!! Staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked about different items on the menu. Michelle and her daughter couldn't have done enough for us from the minute we arrived through to our beautiful breakfast the next morning, The room was spotless and we had a great night's sleep. To top it all my wife Geraldine left a piece of jewellery behind and Michelle contacted us and arranged to have the item posted to our house. Overall a great friendly place to stay made better by fantastic host's. Excellent 15 of us greeted with a smile from Mechelle and the team, food out in good time and everyones meals out together.
