Great centre for MTB trails and natural, amazing walking location too with shops near by to grab a coffee after. Deffo worth the trip up to Garvagh and don't forget the camera! *update - 06/07/2024* Red 2 (top red trail) still closed due to felling from what the storm caused over the winter. Still walkable in all areas and remaining trails all open as normal. *update - 11/04/2025* Red 2, blue 1 both closed due to the storm, part one of red 2 is rideable but part 2 is destroyed. Great place for a around with different trails to do. Also the pyramid is a must see. Lovely we kept the pyramid till last and walked the before getting to see it. Great spot for a or a bike ready. Loads of trails to explore for all level of cyclists. Downside is the carport size. But a visit to the Garvagh Pyramid is always worth the trip. Nice walk, varying trail, looks to be lots of bike options too. Lovely with the kids (8,6,3). Suitable for bikes whole way. Aimed for 5km red trail, got lost and did 8.0km. lots of trickier sections for more advanced mountain biking. Seemed very busy but not overwhelming. And as if by magic virtually no dog poop laying around. Could probably have spent hours just doing yellow skills trail. Looks like it would be great for a run. Access to river and wee streams too. Just really great. Will definitely be back. Parking bit limited at the main site like 20cars maybe but more spaces available nearby on main road.
