So far the best spa in the winterberg area. Not too full, inexpensive, sauna is accessible directly from the pools so ideal with kids too (don’t leave them alone of course.) You can actually get decent food as well (to dutch standards at least); as a suggestion: order smaller portions, otherwise you won’t be able to eat it. Smaller than you would expect from the pictures. But nice facilities with for baby toddlers, two jacuzzis, a sauna, “olympic” pool, and a big play pool. There were also two slides. One slide for normal sitting and another one with a tube. Strange thing was their was no one keeping an eye out. There is a small outside and a large grass patch where you can sunbath. Kantine was quite small with 1 person in the kitchen and 1 girl to take orders, serve food adn drinks to the area, lobby and wellness area. At lunchtime you might wait quite a while for your food. They used too much sauce on the burgers. No phones allowed in the and did not see the lifeguard. He was sitting in his office with camera’s probably. Overal nice place to play with kids. Did not visit the wellness section. nice small swimming pool, has two water slides. Wasn't too busy today Small but not overcrowded swimming and slides. Kids (9 and 6) were more than happy with the amount of different areas though. 4 hours well spent. Perfect indoor swimming to relax and kick back. Three decent size pools, two Jacuzzis, two slides with blow-up wheels, a steam sauna, sauna, adventure showers, a bistro and a wading will make your stay a great time, every time! Top. Really dirty and child-unfriendly pool. Terrible key-system, you can’t get out of the pool, unless you and your entire group get out at the same time, so in theory you’re trapped. Unfriendly personnel, especially at the entrance. I strongly advice you not to come to this pool. I was in the Bad Fredeburg swimming today with my two small children and even if the swimming by itself is great (with a great kid’s section), we were disturb by a group of young adults throwing tennis ball in the middle of everyone and fighting each other with a inflatable. All very close to young kids and babies. This was unfortunately done under the eyes of the safety staff who did not say anything. Sad as it really made the full experience a bad one.
