We came here a day before a music festival and noone was at the gate. We met an organizer of ghe festival who explained about the festival and then we wandered freely in the park. It was a real surprise to find such a lovely park with statues and a fountain. A great place to attend a concert and a nice place to visit when in the area. Stunning gardens, great events (journée des plantes is buzzing with people and plants). The place is a breath of fresh air. 100% worth the trip.
