The municipality has placed new public toilets, a pier that goes about 20m onto the lake, various benches across the entry point next to the camping and also on the picknick area, made a concrete walkway and as I visited they were busy creating a removable walkway from the water back over the sand. The shower still functions, water is very cold and refreshing. Lovely lake for swimming and chilling .....fabulous for children.. Great for smaller kids as there is a large shallow lifeguard patrolled swimming area and being a freshwater lake there are not the waves and currents to worry about. Sunny, sandy and also shady if needed as the lake is surrounded by trees. Picnic tables a restaurant nearby and hiring kayaks pedalos and paddle boards if you want. Nice Beautiful off peak! Dog friendly, lots of shade. Clean and plenty of parking.
