Even if you aren't specially interested in helicopters this is a very good afternoon out. It's an excellent presentation, with a guided tour available, which I strongly recommend. There is a short film to start, then the small exhibits, then a hangar full of some most impressive aircraft. You don't need to wait until it rains, go anyway as you won't regret it. Entirely run by volunteers, who are passionate about what they are doing. Very interesting and well done. There is an entry video and self-guided tour in English. Some of the machines are truly impressive. I brought my 11 year old son here. The exhibition is great. Lots of historical exhibits and two hangars full of aircraft. There is a gazelle heli which has a flight simulator in it. I asked if my son could try it but there was nobody to operate it. I think some more interactive exhibits would be great, such as a helicopter which can be sat in and 'operated'. Some bilingual signage would be useful too. Due to the lack of interactive displays my son wasn't too interested in this museum and as a result I had to hurry along which was a pity. This museum is well presented and very impressive.
