We came here for our dinner. We were helped by a very friendly and helpful couple from Sicily who have lived in USA and they know very good to English. They helped us through the journey of the food experience at La chalet. The guys at the restaurant were very helpful and kind enough to accommodate our request as one of us was vegetarian. One should try their house wine and it’s very good. Their meat platter is large and multi course experience. We had a one of a kind experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Update! Went back this year and the place is even better than my review from last year posted below. This place definitely deserves five stars. The three of us showed up for lunch not knowing reservations proper. They gave us a table and explained the fixed price and options. It was a four course meal at an unexpected reasonable price. The service was excellent and two staff members spoke some English which made it very easy to order. The family atmosphere was superb with the children free to roam around to visit with The horse and the goats. Dogs and cats were present but no distraction or annoyance whatsoever. The food was More than ample and we took plenty home. Highly recommend this place. Went back for pizzas. Soooo big two people can share. 😀 Delicious and quality food. Amazing actually. Fish menu 38 Eur big starter 3 first plates 1 second and dessert. Wine of the house included. The only bad part is the selection of wines. Just some photos. Best dinner I’ve had during this vacation! Recently been with our family friends in a group of 8. This place is a gem. We were lucky to have another American couple who came for dinner there and helped us a lot pick the right things from the menu. The meat platter was great with such a huge quantity of food and variety. The pizza ordered by kids was brilliant as well. They were very generous and gave us a bottle of their house wine towards the end to take home. Great food and excellent service. Just make sure if you are ordering the platter then you are hungry and will try everything that comes with it. If not they will happily pack it for you to take home and enjoy later.
