The old mill adjacent to the Lesse River is a stunning location. Georges and Geraldine are delightful hosts, and the meals were excellent. I highly recommend staying for dinner—it was a memorable and heartwarming experience of sharing and connection. Le Moulin de Resteigne We were greeted by the most charming reception committee: a little dog with enough enthusiasm and a stylish lady who looked like she just stepped out of a French film. Turns out, she’s the daughter of George and Geraldine, the dynamic duo who usually keep this historic mill-turned-B&B humming along. But in their absence, she’s holding down the fort like a pro, ensuring this slice of paradise on the edge of civilization remains as enchanting as ever. The garden? A dreamy oasis that practically begged us to forget about the outside world. And forget we did, thanks to the lush nature that surrounded us—honestly, it’s the kind of secret you want to keep all to yourself, but hey, we’re feeling generous today! We zoomed around the area on our trusty Vespa, discovering hidden gems like Our, Tellin, Jemeppe, Laveaux St Anne, and Eprave. Each stop was a delightful surprise, like finding an extra fry at the bottom of your bag—only better. We’re already planning our return because once you find paradise, why not keep coming back? A real family home. Location is ideal, in the middle of several trails. An old charming house with its working mill. Very quiet with the voice of near by water fall. Efficient but warm welcome. Awesome breakfast We had a lovely stop off at the Mill. It was very short notice but Geraldine and George were brilliant. The Mill is a beautiful old building and interesting place to stay. The location by the river was lovely too. We highly recommend this BnB and would definitely stay again if we were in the area. This a place to remember! One of the best stays ever!
