Called in on the way home for a bit of breakfast bacon and egg barm was very nice, called in at 10-30 so not to busy.also there is an artisan baker's which people were queuing to get in and an butchers. Cafe was small but lively breakfasts and lunches freshly prepared Yesterday on Easter weekend we went to Lake District and on the way back we decided to stop by this place. The lady who attended to us was so welcoming and made sure we got a table for six of us as soon as it was possible. The food here is excellent and the afternoon tea sandwiches and cakes are so delicious. Definitely coming back when we return to the lakes. Highly recommended. Great little with a variety of marinated meats, real ales, cakes, onsite cafe but the best bit was a hidden away seperate to the round the right of the car park, full of flavoursome breads, sourdough, foccacia, pastries, well worth a visit, very tasty and freshly made.
