The service was quick, which we appreciated. However, we were a little disappointed with the overall. The base was very crunchy rather than the softer traditional style we prefer, and the toppings on The Good Life were not really to our taste. We also found a small bone in the chicken on that pizza, which was unexpected and a bit off putting. Overall, I am not sure if we would return. Perhaps we just chose the wrong pizzas, but for us it was just okay. If you are looking for a quick and reliable collection option near Ambleside or Grasmere, this place is decent. We were only passing through, so cannot compare it to other local spots. Good pizza, nice thin crusts We used sourdough co had a delivery although the order was wrong they very quickly brought a second order and the food was delicious and the staff very friendly and professional. The bases were light and crispy, the toppings were original and delicious. We had the Moo with blue cheese and the Big bird with bbq and both flavours were great without being overwhelming. What an exceptional chef! When we collected, we could see the pristine conditions of the kitchen area, the lass on the serving hatch was cheery, professional and efficient. A special mention for the blackberry slice too! Please open a Sourdough company in Harrogate as soon as possible! We from The Sourdough Co. in Ambleside and had it delivered to our hotel at Skelwith Bridge. The service was first class — the driver was friendly and right on time. The were absolutely delicious (we had The Good Life and Hey Pesto), and the garlic bread with mozzarella was perfect. A brilliant experience from start to finish — highly recommended! Looked at other places in Ambleside, but others were more expensive. When we arrived we were met by a very friendly member of staff who helped us decide what to get. We were told it would be done in 15 minutes, and 15 minutes later food was done! The food was hot and the 4 we got were fabulous. The side of potato wedges were exceptional! Definitely will come back here as my go to place! We a delivery. Two Margarita and Pepperoni both with extras. £35. One was missing the extras we paid for, one base was burnt and both were swimming in grease. Sadly would have been better with a £5 frozen each as against spending all that cash for a that’s even worse. They Tasted awful and so oily and swimming in grease. Wouldn’t recommend! Sourdough base was fine, but spiced lamb and feta topping was meagre. Likewise the goats cheese pizza. So not dreadful, just underwhelming. Edit:I had to return to you as the ham and pineapple I collected didn't have any ham. Sorry, I didn't then stop to take photos. I the big bird and the hey pesto both were hot, fresh and delicious. The customer service was fantastic from start to finish. Delivered within 30 minutes from placing the order, The lady delivering even called 5 minutes before arriving to say how long she’d be. Definitely recommend and will try to order again before heading home. We are visiting for a week from Scarborough in Yorkshire, we visit once or twice a year religiously and we was trying to find a good place to eat which is not super processed and we found this, Lovely pizza, the dough was very nice. Great customer service I asked about seed oils and they wiped the trays before putting the on for us which we appreciate very much as we didn’t even ask.
