This was hands down the most surprising and exciting holiday activity I’ve ever done! I’m still over the moon and couldn’t sleep that night from the excitement. It immediately brought back memories of one of my favourite childhood Nintendo games—and doing it in real life had always been a dream. When I checked online, everything was fully booked for our dates. But I couldn’t let it go. I set my alarm and started calling around first thing in the morning. That’s when I found Michael Coates Shooting—and how lucky I was! Their activity centre was fully booked, but they kindly arranged a private for me the next day at a different location. From the moment we arrived, Pete gave us the warmest welcome. He was incredibly kind, professional, friendly and funny—you can truly feel how much he loves what he does. And let me say, he is the best you could ever ask for. Clear, patient, encouraging, and fun. He explained everything so well, and the hour flew by—I genuinely wish I had booked two! My kids came along and had a watching and even helping Pete throw in a few extra challenges for me. We laughed so much and made unforgettable memories. Pete was so generous with his compliments and encouragement that I felt I should have done this million years ago, haha 😂 Thank you Pete. I absolutely this to anyone who loves excitement, speed, a bit of a challenge—or just wants to try something new. It’s totally worth it. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Steve and Isabel gave expert tuition, were really supportive, approachable and encouraging. Everybody improved markedly as Isabel and Steve continued to give constructive and supportive feedback. Went yesterday for the and axe throwing at the Wild Boar Estate. Joining instructions were clear and got us there in good time. Weather wasn't great, very misty but that added to the challenge. Just 4 of us, all first shooters with Peter as our instructor. From the start he was great, really clear instructions on safety etc but all done in a relaxed fun style. My 17 year old son shot 6 out of 8 first go so that set the tone for a very competitive afternoon. With Peters help we all managed to hit a few and its a rush when you do. Tried the axe throwing too. Its a lot harder than it looks but still good fun. All in all a fantastic afternoons entertainment, we'd highly it, and Peter as your instructor. We will be back next chance we get for sure. As a group of 8 women rocking up to shoot, we had no idea how we’d get on, but Peter really took us under his wing, was so supportive, and assured us that everyone would hit a clay… and he was right! Zach, our instructor, was brilliant — patient, encouraging, and at explaining everything in a way that made us all feel comfortable and confident.
