This is a great place to visit. It runs from Holywood Marina down to Bangor Harbour and beyond. There are some rough parts on the but it can be joined at various points along it. Good fresh sea air and great views. Very popular particularly in the Summer. Make sure you have good foot wear and being Northern a brolly at times. There are 'facilities' at Helen's Bay and Crawfordsburn and Seapark. Really good for people who enjoy walking. It's a along the coast what's not to love Beautiful you can from Hollywood to Bangor marina Good shared use gravel hugging the Holywood to Bangor coastline on the shore of Belfast Lough. Can get very busy with pedestrian traffic so if cycling best to go early or late if you don't want to be stopping much. So many different places to start from and in either direction. Lovely scenic walks along the coast between Bangor and Holywood. Today we walked from Cultra to Seahill - very good surfaces though getting a wee bit uneven as we came near Rockport. We'll worth trying different walks along this coastal path. Love this always going for walks It's a treat to on this path. It's clean, it's beautiful, plenty of parking at Seapark and so much to offer. Could do with some dog waste bins perhaps as it's a popular dog spot. Such fabulous of Cave Hill and the Lough. Nice views, fresh air and good walking. Nice but the from Helen's Bay to Holywood was very rough in places. Definitely not suitable for disabled. Come on North down let's see a bit of work to bring things up to scratch. Went there, walked our dogs. Quite pleasant and the majority of fellow walkers/runners were friendly. I took the train to Bangor and then walked from Bangor to Hollywood along the coastal path. Some sections of this are paved, and some other sections remain as footpaths. The areas close to the Bangor and Hollywood are maintained as promenades. It’s a fairly easy with occasional slopes, but there are plenty of benches to sit and rest a little. The section from Bangor to Helen’s bay is busy, and the section from Helen’s bay is quiet until the Cultra area. It is a calm and peaceful path, with people dogs and jogging/exercising. It’s generally very quiet except for the noise of waves breaking. Salt air. This is a delightful with the sea to one side and countryside to the other. My favourite walk. Beautiful route beside the sea. Just wish people would clean up after their pets!!
