Superb golf course with excellent staff Played an Open here in May 25, packed timesheet but tee time on schedule with good pace of play. Some long holes and shapes of good variety tree lined fairways to test and enjoy. Greens were a tad bumpy and personally I felt the overtly long and bunkered 18 was an unfair hole, three of my four-ball landed in three separate bunkers and all got flyers and resulted in scratches to finish off an otherwise enjoyable day with frustration. A shorter hole with deeper sand would improve things. Played Lisburn Golf Club today (Monday’s open 30/07/21) ,great welcome from club Pro Stephen Hamill , the course (parkland) got to be one of the very best in all of Northen Ireland , Truly Amazing, if you’re ever in the Belfast area book your self in for a round you won’t be disappointed. Very well looked after. I played 18 holes the day after a storm and the conditions were fantastic. Greens running slower as to be expected but in immaculate condition. Green keepers are clearly doing an amazing job. Ordered The Golfers burger that came with chips after the round and it was worth every penny £14. 10/10 experience. Can't wait to visit again.
