An outstanding experience. The were customer focused and made every effort to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The food of course wholesome and delicious. The hard product is really high quality which adds to the relaxed vibe. Well worth the wait to get in. Popped in here for family lunch. What a really lovely place, Run up to Christmas and busy but food was great were very polite, friendly and helpful. Definitely will return when back in area. We came to ashvale tea room for my mum's birthday and had an exceptional experience. On parking one of the noticed my sister's wheel was flat and changed the wheel for her. The atmosphere was lovely and the decor was beautiful, were so friendly, very helpful and were exceptional in their attention to us.. the chef also checked to see if we were happy with our orders. I have a lot of food intolerances but the assured me and went beyond my expectations in preparing a beautiful lunch specifically to cater for my diet,...l couldn't recommend them highly enough. All of us were delighted with our chosen meals and the food was beautifully presented as well as full of flavour and delicious. The desserts were also delicious and great portions. When the learnt it was mums birthday they arrived with a small cake and candles, sang happy birthday and proceeded to invite us all to join them at the piano where one of the played mums favourite song to her..we were all so touched and overwhelmed by their attentiveness and kindness. I couldn't speak more highly of this place and their staff, we had a wonderful family day out celebrating mum because of them..thank you ashvale Loved it and worth the wait! A very busy spot and had to queue for about 15 mins to get a table. Great selection on the menu and even had a summer drinks menu which I thought was a nice touch. were all very lovely and service was nice a quick. There’s the tearoom, farm shop with a wonderful selection of fresh veg, buns, breads and then some ready meals to take home. The garden centre and gift shop has a bit of everything and all pretty well priced. Will definitely be back to try something else off the menu! Beautiful place and atmosphere. Attentive staff. A little pricey for some things but worth it. I got the French toast and husband got a fry. Wish I'd gotten a scone too, they looked amazing! Coffee is lovely and we had our 7 month old with us and we were all made to feel very welcome. No matter where we visited in the complex, everyone was so helpful and welcoming. It consisted of 1 sausage which was really nice, soda and potato bread which was terrible, undercooked and full of grease. The bacon and black pudding were so dry they must’ve been lying in the Bainmarie all morning, not cooked fresh. 1 egg ,the yolk was broken and overcooked. The hash brown was undercooked and full of grease. I really wanted to complain and send it back but wife asked me not to make a scene. Service was good as was the cappuccino I had. Unfortunately the main thing which is the food was a disgrace. I won’t be returning or recommending this place. Do not buy vouchers for gifts in Ashvale. Our daughter in good faith bought us a voucher in January 2025. We forgot about it and found it recently. Ashvale would not honour it outside of the time. Very bad customer service from sales department blaming their systems. In essence they took money for no return. No compromise whatsoever was offered. We will definitely not be back. I had eaten there a number of times. Bad form. Nipped in for lunch and was super impressed. The beef stew was just good food for the soul and the warm wheaten bread was a perfect addition. My husband got the soup /sandwich combo which smelt amazing . Honestly too stuffed to go for dessert but the farm shop served us well. The are friendly, helpful and always on the move. They set a family vibe and seem to enjoy working together which tells you everything about the heart of this place. A refreshing change of pace that deserves recognition. This is an exceptually well run establishment. Super friendly and proffessional staff. Likewise i could not fault any of the dishes we were served. I will be back again for sure next time im back in the area. Fab Cafe Great Gift Shop Very well stocked and spacious garden centre. Including nice range of gardening tools and gifts. I have been going to ashvale for quite a while now and must say I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. However today we were booked for the festive afternoon tea, the only flavour in any of the foods was cranberry.. the service was not very good (we had paid in full when booking and when paying for extra drinks etc we were asked to pay half the price and when explaining we had payed already the server scoffed and walked away). From my experience at ashvale today I honestly feel like I’ve been put off, really disappointed!
