The first Jewish to be established in Germany after the end of WWII. As all these places are (Jewish museums & memorials), it's quiet, gentle, low key, informative, remaining sensitive and respectful, no drama, just photos, timelines, written statements and memories from those who were there - I'm always deeply moved in these places, and always visit if & when possible, just to pay my respects. Very nice place may all get to know the true God and honour of humanity Staff was very friendly, the was interesting, and offered a different perspective than I have encountered in the majority of other places I have visited. Relatively quick to visit, but generally worthwhile, and also possible to visit in a wheelchair. I only had one small section which I was unable to see due to the width of my particular chair. In a regular sized wheelchair, I believe there will be few issues. Excellent which conveys the tragedy of the holocaust in Schleswig-Holstein including personal stories of the victims. It was touching to see High School students thoroughly engrossed in the exhibits - definitely a new Germany. It would have been a greater experience had more of the had English explanations, quite a lot was guess work, otherwise a very humbling experience Plan some time when going to the museum. There is a lot of information to read, videos to watch and audio snippets to listen to. The is showing a great mix of history and the presence of jewish life in Germany. If you visit Rendsburg, I recommend visiting. The entry ticket is 7€ for adults and 5€ for students. I didn't visited the place from inside because I didn't felt worth of ticket price. It's a very small and the price is too high. Seeing the struggle of the Jews in Germany over the centuries. Impressive.
