Passing by on my way to Frankfurt I had to take break, so this is right place to relax. Very neat course 10 minutes from motorway. Use google maps when coming there. I knew that course will be hilly, but it was over my expectations. Small parking lot along the road to clubhouse. Clubhouse is nicely located on top of the hill, so you can see many holes from there. What was very nice that the whole clubhouse is shaping small C and in the middle of that letter is huge practice green. Walk through building few steps and you are on driving range, but that is not place for me me this time. Quick check in with my bad German and I'm of to the game. I have no expectation so I just want to relax. From first you can expect many interesting shots with many elevation changes. Tee boxes were quite rough, probably the weakest point there. Greens and fairways were just OK. Already second start biting, tough narrow long par 5. Courses in Germany are not short. Slowly bringing me back to the clubhouse where is the 9th green just next to parking lot. Have to say that routing was not always clear would appreciate more signs "next hole". Anyway front nine is over time to hit back nine again going downhill. Back nine is more tough and narrow, with many holes with sloped fairways, so you really need to know where to hit. I could not find number 12, quite poor marking and than I realize that most nicest is under repair, pity it was not mentioned. Anyway going up and down finally on signature for me 17 par 3. Finishing after long walk to tee boxes of last with bogey. Back to business mode. Overall nice course in very quiet place. Price performance perfect. Eine wirklich gute Golfanlage. Top gepflegt und sehr freundliches Personal. Man fühlt sich als Gast stets willkommen. Der Kurs ist abwechslungsreich und fair. Der Platz und die Grüns waren bei meinem letzten Besuch - trotz Herbst - in einem hervorragenden Pflegezustand. Preis/Leistung ist ebenfalls top. Mit einem leckeren Cappuccino lohnt der Ausklang auf der Terrasse mit schönem Ausblick im "Loch 19 - da Pino". Schöne und ruhig gelegene Golfanlage. Der Pflegezustand ist gut und die Bahnen mit einigen Hügeln bergauf und bergab. Oftmals schöne Aussichten. Der Platz ist fair benötigt aber strategisches Spiel. Der Empfang war freundlich und die Gastronomie gut. Einige Hinweisschilder zum nächsten Tee könnten etwas besser platziert werden. Die Bahn 12 wird aktuell umgebaut und ist nur als provisorisches Par 3 spielbar. Cart sinnvoll. Fantastic Golf club Gespielt im September 2023. Der Platz hat es in sich. Es geht an vielen Bahnen stark rauf und runter. Hinzu kommt, dass einige Bahnen unfassbar eng sind. Jede Menge doglegs, die das Spiel noch anspruchsvoller machen. Auf einigen Bahnen sind blinde Schläge notwendig, so dass man den Platz schon ein paar Mal gespielt haben sollte, um ihn genießen zu können. Die Grüns waren schnell und die Bunker ordentlich. Schnelles und großes Puttinggrün unmittelbar im Bereich der Range und des Sekretariats. Die Driving Range ist mit knapp 180-190 m etwas kurz. Abschläge mit dem Driver sollte man vermeiden, da hinter dem Zaun der Range das Fairway von Bahn 12 verläuft. Die von einem italienischen Inhaber betriebene Gastronomie ist wirklich gut und preislich günstig. So macht Loch 19 Spaß. Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal vorbei, wenn wir in der Nähe sind. Sehr schöner Golfplatz, abwechslungsreich, top gepflegt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auch auf dem Platz von Mitgliedern freundlich angesprochen und begrüßt. Stellplatz ohne Strom und Versorgung vorhanden, sehr idyllisch und ruhig. Italiener vor Ort mit gutem Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hatten Spaß! Tolle, gepflegte Anlage mit kurzen Laufwegen zwischen den Abschlägen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr Hilfsbereit.Die Abschläge 1 und 10 sowie die Driving Range sind direkt am Clubhaus angesiedelt. Schöner Platz. Umgewöhnlich hügelig für jemanden vom Flachland. Die Schräglagen sind schon eine Herausforderung! Gasteo allerdings ist sehr bescheiden. Essen lieber im Hotel Zum Stern.
