The free roaming tame deers and the cute petting zoo are the highlights. Playground for the kids completes the offes with a picnic area and a restaurant right next to it. It is a great place to spend an afternoon with the kids. Great experience for an outdoor walk. They have beautiful wolves. A large herd of deer roam the freely. You can feed several animals and there was a Bavarian in it's natural habitat. The kids really enjoyed the park, it's a really nice place for a walk The animals have enough space to roam around. There is a padding zoo with sheep and if you are lucky a deer might get close and take food from your hand. Great for taking the little ones for a tour to spike their interest. Very nice with wild European animals living in big enclosures. We saw wolves, wild horses, wildcat, owls, etc. Deer and goats roam freely in the and are not afraid to approach you. Feeding the animals and putting the horned deer are prohibited. Not quite what we expected. Most enclosures were closed due to the winter pause, which is understandable, but they could have reduced the entrance fee. What I think this lacks is some signs. We had no clue how far along we were, or whether we’d seen all animals so far... A map at the entrance would be nice, at least, to get some orientation. 3 stars just for the nice location, the woods are beautiful. Otherwise wouldn’t recommend.
