Between the huge stone wall and the sea, there are some meters of sand, where you can relax and also have a refreshing swim in the clean, turquoise water. On top of the wall there is a wooden platform and a few wooden paths were you can enjoy the view down below. The descent is via stone steps. So, I wouldn't recommend bringing too much stuff to the beach. You have to carry everything up, afterwards. Before coming here, check the tide. If it’s low tide, the will have rocks and you won’t be able to bathe in the waves. If it isn’t low tide, will be able to. Also, if it’s low bring a pair of rubber shoes to walk on the rocks. It’s great with for the kids. You’ll see lots of natural pools with local wildlife. This is a local biophysical interest zone due to its fauna and flora. It’s actually the first protected marine area with local management in the country! Caution: this is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any physical disabilities and can’t use the stairs go for Parede beach. It’s in the same neighborhood and you’ll have a ramp from the parking lot to the beach.
