I particularly like Santini's fruit flavors, like passion fruit, lemon, melon, and especially the strawberry one. Wished they would have a little less sugar, though. They make their own ice-cream cones and these are very good. The red and white stripes have always been a statement, but their rebranding a few years back made it into an (even more) recognizable brand, with venues now in several places in Lisbon. This one in Carcavelos, where they actually make the ice-cream, is open until quite late, making it a good place to grab a cone or a cup after dinner. I love the pistachio ice cream. Very cozy place. I loved playing with Jello Ballo, while waiting for my cake. Which is also awesome! Do we need another Santini review? We don't. However here is one anyway. The place has great 🍨. The line could be long, but moves fast! There is a clean small bathroom in the back! I am a loyal customer of the Santini brand, but this shop is by far the worst I’ve ever visited. The staff are always unfriendly and unpleasant, and the portions they serve are much smaller than in the other shops. After several tries – thinking it might just have been bad luck with the person serving me – I finally decided to give up and not return. the berlin ball (bola berlim) ice cream was one of the best I’ve ever had. delicious crepes too. Incredibly tasty ice cream! Definitely worth a visit! Had some after visiting the beach. While we were quite exhausted we were very glad to take the small walk to this ice cream shop since it was so great and refreshing.
