A very café with a huge selection of drinks. I particularly recommend the Maltese coffee. You can also buy and tea on site. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was looking for specialty in Victoria and stumbled upon this gem. I ordered a cortado and it was absolutely perfect balanced, rich, and smooth. The owner is a very welcoming and hardworking lady, and I really admired her warm attitude toward every customer. If you’re looking for great in Victoria, don’t go anywhere else. This is the spot. A place to chill, have a cup of and some pastries. I personally like their french toast. Folks are friendly too! They have a resident cat as well which made chilling so much more enjoyable! On a very busy corner on the way to the Gozo Citadel. Excellent coffee, the best I had in 4 days in Malta. Friendly, smiling service. They had photo of Queen Vic and something on menu called Thatcher 🤣 We have been travelling for 5 weeks and this was the best we've had so far. It was as as anything we get in Australia which is saying something. They use proper milk and roast their own beans. Customer service was also awesome and friendly. Food was Top notch too. Specialty in Malta. You can smell the great quality roasted beans in there. They offer interesting selection of and tea you can buy. We had creamy cappuccino and tasty croissants. Also pizza right next to café was delicious. I had been in Malta for 5 days trying shops every day to find a decent flat white. This was the ONLY place who could make a flat white. The guy serving me was very friendly too. The only thing that let it down was the other guy on-shift was miserable and really grumpy and treated the guy who served me like rubbish. Tasted great and the barista did a great job. Nice, clean place for lunch in the center of Victoria. AC, very staff, food (i recommend the classic Maltese Frira with tuna and tomatoes-it’s yummy, a big portion and perfect for a quick and filling lunch. Also their is very good, a lot to choose from. I recommend. Absolutely fantastic coffee. Best in Europe. Awesome customer service and the food was extremely tasty. ❤️ Stopped early morning mid way through a hike. Lovely Cortado served with a snail and a big warm almond croissant which was lovely. Even gave me a glass for my water which I bought off site. Probably as I was sweating and looked like I needed it haha. We enjoyed a lot our lunch on Monday during our day in Gozo. It has such a atmosphere! Unbelievably food and service. Made me a vegan sandwich fresh (had ran out of vegan pastries with it being a Sunday) with fresh pesto, lovely soft bread, homemade pickles and other veg. One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Was going to be a quick bite to eat and had to eat so slowly to properly savour how it was. Caroline was extremely knowledgeable about veganism and very helpful (refreshing in Malta tbh!). They also roast all their in house making for a lovelyrrefreshing coffee. Probably the best value for money we've found all holiday (€9 ish for oat cappucino with syrup, ciced Americano and a huge absolutely delicious sandwich). Would absolutely come back if we had more time and staying a bit nearer maybe. Will probably be thinking of that sandwich in my dreams. Could not recommend this place enough for anyone but especially for vegans, was an absolutely fantastic find. (Editing to add, they also offered to make vegan shakshuka which is extremely rare inimy experience, truly lovely place) We were served so warmly and were given great recommendations, both for food and what we could explore in the surrounding area. The food was delicious and fresh 🫶🏼 also such a coffeeeee Great restaurant with its own roastery. Delicious pizza and the option to order unique coffees – the Corretto is amazing. Everyone will find something for themselves here, both adults and children. Friendly staff and quick service :) Great food and amazing staff. I had the flatbread with pulled pork and I was licking my fingers by the time I was done. But the best thing about this place is the coffee. They roast their own beans and make their own blends. Lots of tea and blends that can be bought here and enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. I will always make time to stop here when in Gozo. ☕️🫖❤️ We first discovered Victoria Central in 2023 and would dearly love it to be our local cafe (sadly not an option as we don't live in that part of the world). The is simply splendid and the food totally fabulous. The icing on the metaphorical cake are the superb staff and the wonderful atmosphere (sorry to break the alliteration). Having the roasting apparatus in the cafe to go with the other wonderful decor adds that little bit of something else that really does make every visit feel very special. We can't recommend it highly enough. A trip to Gozo means an opportunity for some Vicky Coffee. Thank you Caroline and team for adding some genuine magic to an already enchanting venue. I am smiling now just thinking about it.
