We are cycling (with luggage), were hot and thirsty and wanted to drink something. He refused to give us a table, although the place was half empty and said that was only for people wishing to eat. Instead he directed us to a wooden bench in the hot sun apart from all the other guests. We left without drinking anything and were horrified by this utterly rude treatment. I just saw that the owner reacted that for all the tables reservations were made, but this is really not true. As we left, the waiter said something very rude about us to some other guests, maybe not realizing we could perfectly understand him (or maybe he didn’t care). Is this the famous French hospitality? A lady who was refused access to the bathroom even though they spent money here, a family that was refused service altogether because they were accompanied by children, bad service in general, price/quality not okay… Really a place to avoid!!!
