One of the Best Places To Visits in Valserhône Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A spectacular stretch of the Valserine river (a tributary of the Rhône) with waterfalls that plunge into it from on high and where the water virtually disappears into cauldron-shaped holes and squeezes through impossible gaps in the limestone rock. Visit in the spring when the flow is greatest to feel the rush and marvel at the thundering of the water. Or go in late summer when levels are low and join the brave (foolhardy?) by taking a dip - but watch both the current (still fierce) and temperature (bone-chilling!) Approach from either the (signposted) car on the main D1084 or from the other side on the road to Lancrans (also well marked). The latter is an easy downhill on a quiet road which segues into a track. Wonderful place to see NAMO AMITABHA Blessings to France , beautiful place!! Really fascinating and impressive piece of nature. You can your car up the hill or at the train station in the village and take a from there. Discover these gorges as the mass of water runs through it. Along the route through the gorges there's also the site of an old paper mill. If you take the whole hike it takes about three hours. But you can parts of it. If you your car up the hill, be aware of the steep path down to the gorges. Wear comfortable but good shoes. One of the best places to visit from Geneva as it is just a 40-minute drive. The Valserine River has carved deep gorges into these limestone rocks and formed as canyons. Watch out while you hike might be slippery. The trail starts at the car located at the start of Rue Louis Dumont, just after you pass under the rail viaduct. You can see old hydraulic power station & paper mill while you hike. Very pleasant in summer, little walk, it climbs for the return. Très belle balade ! Un paysage unique créé par l'eau, la pierre et la nature. Incredible place to visit during the hot summer days. Incredible A nice easy along the Valserine. From near the train station, it takes about 3h round trip. Spectacular place - magnificent river phenomenon, surrounded by an eerie forest Definitely worth a detour, wonderful limestone karst formations.you can close by and visit this alone or do a longer walk. The longer has some lovely views! À faire absolument !!!!!!! I loved the experience! Very nice place to visit. En plus de cela ce lieu est rempli d'histoire avec ces quelques usines hydroélectriques. je recommande vivement it was good 💯 a 9/10 experience it has a beautiful canyon with water in it its deep but on a beautiful summer day its really cold and good 👍👍👍👍👍👍 you can the car at a train station 🚉 and you have a good little hike i really liked it 👍 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
