We have gone here many times to play. It is a bang for your buck, typically cheaper than the other courses around Barcelona, but it is also not as well taken care of so you get what you pay for. We have had enough experiences every we have gone, but the last was so bad with their customer service that we will not go back to play. The brunette with all of the bracelets in reception was very unkind to us, and was commenting on us to her colleague right in front of us, assuming we did not understand (which we did). We would have hoped to be met with common decency and respect, like with anyone, but we were met with everything but. Really disappointed and will in the future happily pay more at other courses for a better experience. I love this place ! Very nice course, kind stuff and yummy restaurant! Recommend This was a fabulous outing. Max was a great host, caddy, and driver. In our non-golf conversations we learned a lot about life in Barcelona since he came here from France 20 years ago. And he speaks French, Spanish, some Portuguese, and really English. We even taught him some new golf swear words. I would definitely recommend this activity . This place is great. Not the most interesting track but it’s in shape and it’s fun. The marshal this morning was amazing. Very active keeping pace up and ensuring that I, as a single, was able to jump around the course and maintain momentum and finish in 3.5 hours. It also has the best practice facility in the area by far. Even a Trackman range! Lovely course. Very accommodating staff. clubhouse facilities. We played the Tour and Stadium courses at Camiral which were amazing. La Roca was third on our list, the morning before we flew back. Lovely people, so accommodating and a course that stood up exceptionally well against the two prestige tracks at a fraction of the cost. Immaculate fairways and greens, loads of water and stunning views. If you are undecided just it. You won’t be disappointed. I would not go here if you are not Spanish! We went to this course yesterday at the end of our holiday to finish off our trip on the way back to the airport. We were made to feel entirely unwelcome from the moment we stepped in to the resort. Staff at reception seemed totally disinterested and when they found our booking they told us that the 3 scooters we had booked were not available so to take a buggy. I had to ask where the buggies were and also how to get to the first tee cos they basically just said ok bye! We were not even offered a scorecard or a single piece of information. Then it went further south again! We made our way to the first tee for our tee off and could see there was a local tournament on. We were polite and waited for our and then hit our balls. We were then approached by local members playing in the tournament very aggressively saying we cannot and aren’t welcome. They were ringing reception and shouting. So as not to inflame the situation we did not go on to hit our second shot and waited for a course representative who told us that our tee had changed but they hadn’t told us and that tee was 15 mins later which by now was that as we had had 15 mins of Spanish members shouting at us. We showed everyone (including the idiots on the course) our booking but it wasn’t enough, they didn’t like us and didn’t want us to play. We left out balls on the first hole and drove back to reception. Again staff seemed not bothered and I wrote the complaint on google translate, they took it to the manager in the office by where we were standing. He read it and shrugged his shoulders, he didn’t come out to apologise. Of course we were very annoyed and they gave us our money back and truthfully we were really glad we didn’t the course as it would not have been good. If you want a course/resort that way go to Camiral golf, we played both courses there and it was incredible and some of the best service we have ever had from the staff who couldn’t have helped anymore. We are certainly going back to Camiral but I wouldn’t ever go to La Roca. Again from the start I got the distinct impression that if you were not local then you are not welcome. I WOULD AVOID THIS COURSE I visited during my trip to Barcelona. I rented golf clubs and had an enjoyable day playing. The staff were very friendly, and the golf course seemed to be very well-maintained.
