Puerto de Mataró

Mataró, Spain Marina

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very dirty, expensive, no wc/showers and lack of assistance. Low security. In this area, without transportation, you are where you don't want to be unless you speak Arabic. The 1 star goes to the poor marinero trying to do his best....but it's only one marinero per shift for the whole marina. I'm not adding pictures, because they would be too offensive. Very pretty port and lovely restaurants and bars near by. Great to sit and watch the sea or walk around it Arrived by sea to lay the boat up for the winter. Nice staff and good services, with enough shops and bars open over the winter to keep the days interesting. Very handy for the train into Barcelona. Ended up spending the entire Covid19 lockdown here on the end of a pontoon. It worked quite well for us and we managed to get everything we needed with help from the marina staff and local people. Amazing and relaxing place to rest and enjoy the sunshine ☀. 30-45 minutes away from Barcelona, either by bus or train. Stunning scenery and weather. Totally recommend.... Nice place to take a walk or a run. There are some restaurants too where to enjoy traditional or around the world dishes. It could be far more better if they invested a bit in the infrastructures but it is quite nice. The brakeway it's poorly serviced. There are NO public toilets There are no accesible stairs for the public to go up on the brakeway or down to the boats. No access to drinking water or any sort of amenities Poorly designed with a huge concrete monument at the end of the brakeway. Concrete it's a huge pollutant! Handrails look cheap and from inappropriate material In the future please get in touch with a better architect Quite, Clean and Happening Beach Activities - Swimming, Beach Volley, Football, Sun bath, Drinks and Food Very nice and super helpful staff with a nice lounge to play Billard and many many restaurants directly at the marina. Front of marina is superyachts and back pleasure boats.
