The restaurant is decorated with some handmade woodart from a loval or the owner. They also have a planty of space outside if it is summer time. The staff is very friendly and the menu is also translated in English. We arrived very late, but they were open until 10pm. Life saving on that road I ate "zalewajka" like my grandmother used to prepare. Zalwajka is sour soup with potatoes and wild mushroom (here served with dried mushroom due to season). The potato pancakes and kvas added a unique touch to our meal, making it even more memorable. This is a definite recommendation for those seeking excellent food and impeccable service. I have an impression that I have been there before. I was not lucky with my choice of food today. Racuchy z jabłkami looked impressive but were not good. Plates and cups from Bolesławiec are beautiful. Outside looks just alright, inside too. I had to wait for a seat for only around 7 minutes, whereas it was time for lunch and in most other restaurants i would have waited longer. I'm accustomed to such prices, but the margin on some was higher than expected. Some English translations were different from polish ones. For exemple, salad with tomato and mozzarella also had info in English that it contains basil. Some foods were explained, but I didn't pay enough attention to them. My salad with mozzarella and tomatoes was just ok. Also adding salad to mozzarella and tomatoes is kind of unusual and I would have preferred, for exemple, rocket salad. Also the basil was not used in form of leaves, but as a dry spice in olive oil. 29 PLN for some salad and cheese is definitely too much. It left me with a bad taste in mouth. The only thing, that keeps it a little worth it, is the portion size and the opinion of my friends who took "schabowy" and enjoyed it (except for carrot) Excellent in any way! I had a sourkraut soup and potato panckakes with smoked salmon. I enjoyed every bite. I wish I could try more dishes from the menu. I liked the interior too, very. cozy, spacious and bright hall.
